Design is like cooking, it is about its connectivity and shareability with people on an emotional and cognitive level. The user interface draws people into the digital world that designers and engineers create. When people step into that door, as a designer, I am responsible to provide a safe and enjoyable experience with sparks of excitement, just like how I would do when I cook.
I came to the U.S at the age of 16 as a high school exchange student. I have learned how to cook food from people around the world. Cooking has meant so much to me. It has became a way for me to share my culture, to connect with people across the globe, it has brought many people joy and love.
